They only metal paper clips I could find without plastic coating.
I wanted plain metal paper clips but everything was covered with plastic. These colored metal ones were as close as I could get to plain metal

Staples Offerings Have Changed
Large colored/coated paper clips are available only in small packages. Typewriter ribbons “We don’t carry that stuff any more.” The attitude of both clerks was “and we don’t care” with no recommendations for how to find.

Metallic jumbo paper.clips
I bought these jumbo metallic paper clips as a birthday gift. I know the person that will be getting them was really wanting them. Nine year old grandchild. Just one small thing that will go in with a bunch of other desktop items. 😉❤️
