Staples HL8000 42" 3-Drawer Lateral File
I'm very satisfied with the file cabinet. It arrived in excellent condition and was well packaged from the manufacturer. The cabinet itself was as advertised and offers both letter and legal file storage. I was so pleased that I also ordered the optional Front-to-Back lateral file rails which fit well too and offered a nice alternative file presentation.

check condition first!
the unit was dented in the back and deeply scratched across two drawers in the front, we didn't get it in the door but put it back on the truck. ALWAYS check condition first before accepting delivery as the packing materials used for the file cabinets are inferior and frequent damage occurs

Perfect for my home office
This filing cabinet is the perfect size for my home filing needs. It is heavy duty construction, solidly built, yet beautiful finish, with black enamel. Looks great next to our gun safe a great compliment to the room.

Perfect for US!
Extremely Large File Cabinet that works really well for they way we have our business set up. I love the fact that you can only have one drawer open at a time. That prevents the file cabinet falling over and is a great safety feature.

Good for what it is
Very functional 3 drawer file. I was disappointed that the unit did not come with a middle bar so that files could be loaded front to back.

Great product. 4 out of 5 because in the manual it says that additional optional dividers are available, but when you contact Staples, the additional optional dividers are not available for purchase.

Does the job
Purchased online and was impressed with quick delivery. More impressive was the amount of space to accommodate large files. Already comes with rails for standard drop in files and a secure locking mechanism to keep records from prying eyes.
