Staples HL8000 42" 3-Drawer Lateral File
I'm very satisfied with the file cabinet. It arrived in excellent condition and was well packaged from the manufacturer. The cabinet itself was as advertised and offers both letter and legal file storage. I was so pleased that I also ordered the optional Front-to-Back lateral file rails which fit well too and offered a nice alternative file presentation.

check condition first!
the unit was dented in the back and deeply scratched across two drawers in the front, we didn't get it in the door but put it back on the truck. ALWAYS check condition first before accepting delivery as the packing materials used for the file cabinets are inferior and frequent damage occurs

The three-drawer lateral file is a solid filing cabinet. Well built. Good finish. I wish the slides were a little smoother but that's my only issue.

Heavy duty
It’s a nice filing cabinet with large drawers heavy that it was a challenge for me to get it on the second floor but I managed. It well made and came in with no dents or scratches. Very pleased with it. One thing I realized that the cabinet has pavers that sits in the back to prevent the cabinet from tilting not sure if it can be taken out to make it light to carry.

Drawer gapping
I was disappointed considering the drawers do not line up, leaving a gap even after leveling. There was also minor transportation damage, including two dents in the front frame and some paint scratches caused by drawer rubbing.

FILE CABNET
DELIVERY WAS SUPER FAST AND IT CAME READY TO GO. IT WAS SUPER EASY TO SET THE METAL RUNS FOR THE FILES. IT DOESN'T COME WITH THE CENTER BAR IT DOES SAY THAT IN THE ADD BUT I MISSED IT!! VERY STURDY LOOKS GREAT!
