starting to show wear.. after 15 years..
I must have bought this backpack around 15 years ago.. it's starting to show some wear. took it to Afghanistan and Iraq and countless other overseas trips as well as used locally as main laptop bag. it outlasted at least 3 laptops.

Why not 17,3??
Really stupid design not to be meant for 17,3 laptops. Bought for 17,3 laptop but it doesnt fit in.

Plenty of Room for your laptop and accessories
Wanted a case/backpack that would hold my regular keyboard (18 inch) and everything else and it easily does that. I don't think it will hold lots of books as it isn't very deep but for a laptop and accessories it is great.

Why not 17,3??

The very best!
I've been using this backpack for 5 years now and never had any issues. This was not just my laptop backpack. I used this as my travel backpack as well. I highly recommend this.

Great bag for the money
Bought this bag to travel with a 17" Dell laptop and it is more than expected. We use a wireless mouse and keyboard which easily fits in the bag with plenty of room to spare. I used a briefcase style computer bag for my old laptop and it was always stuffed even without any paper files. I haven't been able to fill this one yet.

Good backpack
Using it for a 15.6" laptop. I have the laptop in a sleeve that easily fits into the laptop slot in this pack. Lots of compartments. Zippers seem well built. Shoulder and waist straps are very solidly built so the bag doesn't put much strain on my shoulder neck or back. Only had it for a week so still catching on to all that's in it. This backpack is awesome
Very comfortable and durable backpack for my 17" laptop. I accidentally ran over it with my truck and my laptop survived other than a cracked screen. I highly recommend it.

Nice Bag
The bag has great storage and lots of it which is really helpful for my life. The variety of space is good also. Great protection for laptop AND ample room for book storage.
The Targus TXL-617 is a great protector for really any size laptop. Great bag while it lasted
I've had this bag for a long time, probably about 10 years or more. It has been my favorite bag mostly because it is so large and I love the material and the way that my laptop, tablet, and other items are so easy to put in and to remove. I love this product
I really love this bag, and would have rated it 5 stars, if one of the zippers hadn't broken after a weeks worth of use. I will be send the bag back, and I am not sure if I would pick this bag again, I haven't decided yet !
