Good to be able to print large photos
I've now had this printer for about two months, and am pleased with it so far. I did not have the problems others reported in setting it up with my Apple desktop.

So disappointed
Out of the box I was surprised to look at my counter and hands to find a rainbow of splattered colors from the cartridges leaking. Be very careful to stay away from rugs and nice clothing when installing.

Simple to set up. Does more than expected.
Set up instructions and software CD is a quick and easy set up. Worked first time I hit print.
Bit larger machine than I thought and output tray
sticks out to far, problem leaving it down when not in use. Just used for special documents. Works fast with nice printouts.

Genuinely Astonished by it's Output
I've read a lot of bad reviews of this printer. The biggest complaint seems to be wifi printing. I must admit, I can't get that to work correctly. But, I don't care. No scanner?
I bought this thinking this would scan. But can’t find any information now, and is there any way to find compatible scanners? I’m trying to scan canvas to make prints. Help line was not helpful. The prints are great I just can’t get what I actually wanted prints of.

Worst printer ever
This printer is a mess. From bleeding ink everywhere to never connecting to wireless. A huge waste of time money and energy. All canon support has been useless. The feeding tray only works 1 out of every 20 attempt to even print.

Great printer! Prints photos well.
Very happy with it. I still miss my old Pixma Pro, but this works for me.

I like it
I like it, but I have trouble getting it, or any printer to print exactly the size I want. The Ink cartridges that come with it run out quickly. Order a set with the printer.

Terrible!!!!!
No icc profiles, Colors arent even close to what's on monitor. You will waste a ton of paper trying to match colors. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER, IT'S USELESS.

Print Quality Is Good, WiFi Horrible
This printer works well, when it opts to work properly. I'd estimate at least 75% of the time I get a printer error usually associated with either a bad connection, no connection, or some other reason that it won't print. it doesn't seem to matter whether its a wifi connection or USB. Easily the least reliable printer I've ever owned.

The ink which I use is of the highest quality on very expensive photo paper including Metallic as well as on Canon brand paper.
