Great printer

I love this printer! After five years of continuous heavy use, and only internal cleaning it was finally showing signs of age. Good Replacement for Pro 100

This a good replacement for the Pro 100. It still prints CDs. It does away with the photo cyan and magenta cartridges. It doesn't seem to waste as much color ink when printing in black and white mode.

The Ultimate Workhorse - Luv It!

I've owned and used this printer daily for 6 years! I'm a photographer and use it often for Client prints. NO PROBLEMS - ever! It's a tank and prints lawlessly - all sizes. Luv it.
To rebut complaints: Use only Canon ink. Connecting to anything Apple (Mac) is often glitchy.

Expensive junk.

Constant issues with printer not recognizing ink cartridges, printer no longer works carriage pins fell off with occasional use of the printer. Wastes tons of ink as it saturates the paper. Worst printer ever, waste of money.

High Quality High Detail Photo Printer

We printed a photo of the German Alps on an 8.5X11 and thoughts there were black spots in the clouds. It turns out they were birds in detail under a loupe! Incredible detail. Detailed High Quality Photo Printer

Do not buy.

This printer barely works and uses ink super fast. I can't remember the last time I have used it without an error light. Most of the time it simply does not work. Do not buy this printer.

Description says Pixma iP8720 prints up to 13 X 19 in. Does not mention that the common size print 11 X 14 is NOT available.

Quality printer throughout!

Wanted to replace my Epson 13"x19" printer after many years of great performance. Found the Canon iP8720, read the specs and reviews, and bought it about 3 months ago.
Printer was easy to set up, easy to use. I've had zero issues with mine.
Print quality has been fantastic!
Great price point for a quality printer!
Highly recommend!

A Year Old and Into the Trash.

Hot mess. Originally connected the 8720 to an ancient iMac- hard enough to set up (wirelessly), but at least it printed. Worst buy ever. So sad. I used to love Canon. Lost time money ink.

Wasting Day after Day in Tears. What a piece of ...yeah. No idea what model? TR? G SERIES? nothing is on it and not desktop software. You download it, then it says expired. Still 2 days later can't print a 4x6. All I do is google into rabbit holes of unhappy unsatisfied customers.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY....BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!

The reviews are correct about having a very difficult time connecting to WiFi. It took hours to connect and then twice in 2 months it lost connection so I had to reinstall.....I have the fastest residential and strongest signal. It is a CANON fault software/hardware issue!!

Simple to set up. Does more than expected.

Set up instructions and software CD is a quick and easy set up. Worked first time I hit print. Bit larger machine than I thought and output tray sticks out to far problem leaving it down when not in use. Just used for special documents. Works fast with nice printouts.
