Not worth the price.
Jammed on the first cut of 10 sheets. It literally couldn't slice through while my older cutter can still do 15 sheets. I would like to say you get what you pay for but at this price and with the Swingline name I guess I was just expecting it to work. Look elsewhere.

Size Great Cutting As Great
I bought this cutter because I needed a smaller size cutter to fit in our copier room. However it is my fault for not seeing that is it for light use. We are a small school. Just take note that this is best for light use. We bought this in November and are replacing it just shy a year.

Perfect for small jobs
This is perfect for my needs. Sharp cutting light weight. If you need to process large amounts you may prefer to have a more heavy duty one. For my once or twice a month 10 to 20 sheets this is perfect.

Not worth the price.

Have wanted one of these forever!!
This is a GREAT tool. For years in order to make a straight cut I’ve had to measure connect dots and hope my hand was steady with the scissors. This very affordable paper cutter does a perfect job in time flat! It is sturdy but not too heavy and will work wonderfully for my project needs. I recommend!

Paper cutter works great!
This paper trimmer was easy to set up only had one piece to snap onto the handle and it was ready to go. Easy to use very smooth operation. Nice neat cuts

not as handy as it's cut out to be
This was in our office before I started -- so almost two years old -- I noticed right away it's slippery / slides around because it's so lightweight AND I'm sad to share it doesn't cut straight :( Initially I thought I was doing something incorrectly (really how could I mess it up) I even tried strong arming the arm to get it as close to the board as possible but ...

Cuts great but flimsy
The blade is very sharp and cuts very precisely using the ruler and grid. However the overall unit is all plastic except the cutting blade so it feels very flimsy. It has a 10 year warranty on it but I don't foresee it lasting that long. If it drops or gets bumped hard enough I can see it cracking or chipping easily. Let's think positive.

Good size for small office
This works well for our small office to save on space. Blade is sharp and we can cut 10 pages at a time or 5 pages of cardstock.

Only cuts about 8-10 sheets at a time to keep them straight but cuts smooth and the locking blade is a nice feature
