Fabulous Printer and Tech Support
My previous 4 in one printer died - Canon sent me a brand new one for less then I paid for the previous one. You can always get tech support on the phone, and they can help you on the phone. When my printer died, the tech questioned me about the amount of ink on hand and said it was best to get same printer because ink for a different Canon printer would end up being ...

Functions as MX870...more steps to access menu and print/scan etc
Replaced a failed MX870 Canon printer...(purchased 2014)...The TR8620a has pretty much the same capabilities as the MX 870...I am disappointed in the printer being downgraded and cheapened. The MX870 was more user friendly and operated better that the TR8620a...next purchase I will go to retail outlet and do a hands on review of printer and functions before purchasing!

Like the printer but the previous one didn't quite last two years. Print head was flaky. Canon support gave me a deal on another one, so we see how this one last.

Great printer
Awesome printer for the price, setup was a breeze, zero issues with it. Liking it way better than my old HP Officejet (which always had paper feeding issues, and printed MUCH slower)

Quill doesn't support you when a product fails
I purchased this Canon TR8620 printer in late March of this year and it has had many problems. The ADF doesn't work when scanning documents. I've had many paper jams with the ADF as well as the duplex print function. When I called Quill they said it was past the 30 days and "good luck calling the manufacturer. I just want everyone to know that after 30 days Quill ...

Response from Staples :
We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the Canon TR8620 printer. While our return policy is 30 days we should’ve done more to support you. We’re reviewing this internally and would love to help—please see the email I have just sent so we can make it right. TD

great printer at decent price
I like this printer because it prints clear and concise documents. Only draw back is the little screen has to be open to print. Just a design flaw nothing that inhibits the use. More annoying than anything. I would buy again though. I like the multi printer ink option each ink in seaperate tanks for optimal usage of ink.

Printer is great. "AI" help in my opinion "Not ready for Prime Time"
There were some "hickups" but once I contacted and visited with a great agent, who took care of the problem and gave me the information and help I needed, problem solved. It's a great printer and I'm very happy with it. "AI" is under the assumption it can help with any problem, sometimes you need a person! Once you get through to a "person" for me that made all the d...

Pleasing performance!
This is my third Canon Printer, and I am sold on the Canon brand. Pictures are sharp and clear and the colors are true. I have downsized as I am now a widower, recently remarried. This printer meets my needs, for printing documents, pictures and copying. I am very pleased with this printer and I will continue to buy Canon products.

Roller Sprockets clashing due to paper jam
My previous Canon all-in-one printer lasted about 6-8 years. This replacement had a paper jam within the first week - concerning about it's longevity. The rollers continued to turn while the paper jam prevented movement leading to loud, prolonged gears clashing - is there long term gear damage now? Also, I could not find the paper jam removal guide.

Great for the price!
I got this to replace a Pixma MG7720, which I had really liked but was toast. In comparison, this one seems slower, much cheaper made, & of poor design. However, as stated, it wasn’t expensive & does everything I want it to do. It would be nicer if the control panel didn’t have to be open to print & if photo paper didn’t have to load from the back. Both of these des...

Less just isn't more.
I purchased this to replace an older (TS---) model. I wanted to use the same inks, since I had a bunch, and called Canon Customer Service for help in identifying such a printer, since it is otherwise not easy to identify which inks are used by a printer. I am not satisfied! The printer prints and scans and copies (and apparently Faxes, which is of no use to me), However...

Compact, Quiet, Capable
Compact, quiet, capable. I particularly like two paper trays, allowing letter and photo paper options on the fly.

PICMA TR8620a
As described. Like 95 percent -- wish it had automatic exit tray opening like the PIXMA MX922 it replaced.
