It works great

It works great now that it is set up. It says in the instructions "Easy set up". It was not. I followed the instructions and couldn't get it to work. Had an IT guy come in and do it for us.

Usually Predictable and Reliable.

Have been using this printer for almost 3 years, only replaced it because a plastic part keeping the paper in check in the Tray 2 broke (Discovered the back up Tray 1 doesn't grip/feed properly).

Good printer/scanner

I bought this model because the model we had was not available anymore. A little annoying as already had toner cartridges but they don't fit this model.

Hard to connect

Disappointed Consumer

Printer is not what I expected from HP. I had a lot of difficulties getting it set up. No manual to reference. Printer is un reliable. Works fine one time, next time the paper does not feed correctly resulting in document being cropped. Touch screen is too small. #1 tray is fragile and extends out from printer and not always feed correctly.

Speedy Black and White Printer/Scanner

We mostly print documents in black only and this little laser printer is doing the job nicely. Its fast prints one or both sides. We all like it.

Options

Learn first you or your family needs when buy or "lease" a printer with ink supply.
HP has many options.
Questions like do I/we need a color or only black printer or what is the difference in quality of printing and cost of the ink for a ink jet or laser printer or do I am OK with HP's automatic ink supply and pay for extra copies beyond original agreement?.
