Great Case
Great case for my needs. As a Security Director I need access to my information in all kind of demanding conditions and immediately. This case has gotten the job done. I also like how you can see through the case as my Surface Pro is Blue, I like to show off the color.

Ok, but not great.
This is a slip fit design. It is rather easily removed, it does not have a mechanical locking component to it. If dropped I could see it coming apart and the Surface Tablet being damaged anyway. The rear kickstand is also rather flimsy. It’s not a great product if it isn’t up to the task of providing a more secure and tough armor solution for your expensive tablet.

Great case
I don’t envision a need for the shoulder strap but the handle on the back is great. With our without a keyboard. Haven’t dropped it and don’t plan to, but I have confidence that this will work if I do.

This is not my first rodeo with UAG cases. In general the cases are very well done. The fit,finish and functionality are beyond reproach. My only caution in purchasing a particular case from UAG is to be certain of how you're going to use your device that the case is protecting because that will affect which case may serve you best. Very Protected
Case is sturdy and covers most areas, the one and only thing that's missing that I wish this case had was integrated port covers. But other than that, very nicely made and protection is great.
