good buy
Wanted to replace my computer's cdrom with internal HD, so this external dvd burner was perfect replacement. USB cable only takes up one USB port. Comes with CyberLink Media Suite 8.0. Good buy for the sale price of $22 + tax shipped. Ordered on Saturday, received Tues morning.

Very disappointed!!
I purchased this product for my son to use on his Yoga 910 that he purchased for college. It will not play DVD's. The software only allows for burning disks even though this was the recommended item for burning AND playing DVDs.

small, light weight, fast connection

Bingo! Just What I Needed
Got the drive today, plugged it in to my XPS 8930 USB port (Windows 10 Home) and it practically installed itself. I installed the included Windows software and was able to clone (incl. software calls it "copy") a commercial DVD (double layer 8gig disk) that had to be inserted every time I ran a popular (unnamed) FltSim program. Great External DVD Burner Didn't Last As Expected
I bought this with a new laptop in August 2018, 26 months ago. I've used it with innumerable CDs and DVDs. It's easy to use and super portable. Unfortunately, the latch mechanism isn't too reliable after 26 months and the drive pops open on its own, even if I'm watching or burning a disc. I like Lenovo laptops, but this disc drive was a little disappointing.

DVD Burner DB65 player
Wow! So glad I ordered the DVD Burner DB65 for my Lenovo computer. I needed the external player inorder to access many of my software that operate from a CD and to install some software. The player worked perfectly and I look forward to years of service from it.

Lenovo Slim DVD Burner DB65
The DVD drive works simply by connecting the drive to your computer, without the need for manual configuring or additional software. It’s very lightweight for portability but should be handled with care because it’s so thin.

Unfortunately I've Been Unable to Use This Product, It Comes With a Software, It Lacks Of an Activation Key Number, Unsuccessful Communication With Customer Service By Phone, Long Time Waiting Period, Contact By email, Without a Solution, I Had Good Experience With Lenovo Products Before, Dissapointment Now

Works great at a great price! Can't go wrong.
Great addition to my laptop! Setup is super simple, just plug it in. I got it because my laptop did not come with an optical drive/burner. So I wanted to archive some data. Perfect solution. No complaints what so ever.

Lenovo DVD burner DB65
Love this DVD burner. Easy to use; plugged it into USB port on my laptop and it worked right away. Burned photos onto a DVD disc. Excellent product!

Great experience right out of the box!
Everything was simple - from removing the components out of the box to setting up to using the computer - the process was quick and easy. I love that "bloatware" is optional rather than already installed. The matte screen eliminates glare and that is a must for my eyes. Handy accessory
I was hesitant to get a laptop since I was used desktops and their CD players/burners, but this device removed those concerns.
