This drive is one of the most durable hard drives I've ever owned, and I'm purchasing another one today because I have no concerns about it's quality.
I've owned several of these over the years. I've taken them out of computers that I found on the side of the road in the rain and they're still running years later. Anyone saying they keep dying time after time either has something wrong with their system or they're lying. Seagate wouldn't put a 5 year warranty on it unless they knew it would outlast 5 years.
