Not what I was looking for.
While I was very pleased with the 6 ft. cord I misread the description and thought the volume control was on the cord. It is not. Also the headphones are very tight-fitting and uncomfortable.

Long cord is a plus with these headphones
These headphones are of the older style of on-ear headphones and serve well in that capacity. The long cable is useful for wearing them at a desk while still having freedom of movement to work on other tasks. The sound quality is quite good especially for news and other voice recordings. They also allow the listener to hear outside sounds.

COMFORTABLE
When I first looked at the headphones I thought they would not satisfy me. But I have found them very comfortable and clear. I am very pleased with the purchase and the wait for them to arrive was worth it.

Another great buy!
This is the 1st set I bought. It was so good I'm buying a 2nd set. The only negative is it doesn't hold up under a moving wheelchair. I will be more careful next time :) I bought some cheap ear buds for 2x the cost of these headphones. The buds didn't last a day. The 7' cord gives me enough room to move around my desk.
