Avoid the wifi
Excellent adapter for those that want to avoid wifi EMF and stick to safe hard wired setup. It appears that most new computers come without the ethernet connection and push wireless at nausium.

My MacBook Pro 16" does not recognize this adapter
This adapter is not recognized by my Mac even though the specifications indicate it is compatible with macOS devices. There is no clear way to download a driver to remediate the problem.

It just works.
I use it to connect my Dell 5320 Laptop to our Ethernet. I need an Ethernet connection if I do a bare metal restore using an EaseUS backup file located on my NAS. Worked with no need to download a driver and no problems. Our LAN immediately appeared as a network and took precedence over the WiFi connection to the same LAN.
