A nice keyboard spoilt by the keycaps
The letter keys (QWERTY) are great - a nice font and bright keys. But the numeric and special keys have the shift character BELOW the main character which is really confusing. I know you've done it as the LEDs are at the top but why not do what others do and have them next to each other? The right side control keys (Ins, Del etc) have huge M1, M2.. characters and tiny I...

Nice keyboard

Worth the Money

Hard to see display, great keyboard
Looked for a (mechanical) upgrade to my old G510, and it's great.
Really needed a display just like my G510, but its hidden quite a lot by the numpad which is shame. Also the fanmonitoring software is no longer supported due to a vulnerability, which isn't a Steelseries issue but STILL isn't fixed..
Great keyboard, but the extra features need some work.

Best Keyboard I've had in a while
I've had a different type of keyboard before, TKL, switches were just mechanical which meant I had to add silicon circles to deafen the sound as it was a bit annoying after a while. This one is completely the opposite, while loud as you'd expect from a mechanical keyboard, the hybrid membrane does make things nicer. Full-size, keys are soft, RGB is customisable per key....

How good it is
I bought it at the start of July and have been using it ever since, it's works amazing with my PC and I love how you can customize it to different colors or styles to fit those colors

Great Keyboard!
The SteelSeries Apex 5 is an amazing keyboard! The hybrid mechanical switches feel incredibly smooth and responsive, and the RGB lighting is absolutely stunning. It’s built like a tank and looks fantastic on any desk. Highly recommended! Coming from Apex PRO, I love the sound of Apex 5 even better!

Excellent keyboard!
First, I love the wrist rest which makes it more comfortable to type and is soft and pleasant. It allows me to type for long periods of time with less discomfort.
Second,.the colors are very cool looking and vibrant. They are adjustable, which I still need to figure out, but love them as they are!

Awesome keyboard
The SteelSeries - Apex 5 Wired Gaming Hybrid Mechanical Blue Switch Keyboard with RGB Back Lighting is great to use. The body material gives the keyboard a sturdy heavy weight feel. Awesome keyboard
Working with the apex 5 has been great. Has smart display which is customizable. Can use 5 onboard profiles. Great key feel. Very comfortable wrist rest. Definatly reccomend for your gaming needs.

Clean look
This is my first “Mechanical” keyboard. The feel is definitely very different to a standard keyboard. It is much louder. So if your looking to be quiet this is not it. The colicky was is nice. One thing that I am not super thrilled with is how sensitive the key presses are. Sometimes a very subtle depression of a key will register.

Functional and Fun Keyboard
This is a great keyboard. The colors are really fun and bright. The keys are perfect and make a nice click noise when pressed. They also feel nice when pressed. I love this keyboard and would recommend it to friends. It would especially be fun for the family keyboard or teens / preteen.

Great keyboard
I love this gaming keyboard. I have just gotten into gaming on my PC and have had a need to get a better keyboard to support this. The Apex 5 is perfect for my needs. Lights up, strong button touch, feels good. Definitely a win.
