Confusion regarding USB cable
Your owner's manual states, on page 4, that a 3-foot cable is included. In fact, it includes a 3-inch cable.

Pandemic Proof
The "USB-C Portable Docking Station with Detachable Cable, Gray" has made working from home during a pandemic bearable! My company provided a Macbook Air, which only has USB-C ports on it, normally rendering all USB accessories and HDMI cables useless. But the Tripp Lite dongle saved the day!
