Drive failed
It failed within two weeks. Seagate replaced under warranty.

Replace your SSD
I replaced my 128Gb SSD with this 1Tb HDD and don’t regret it for a minute. SSD is so overpriced. This drive is still super fast. There’s not much noticeable difference in speed IMO.

Simple, easy installation.
I bought this hard drive to supplement the SSD in my daughter's laptop. The installation took about 10 minutes.

Good product!
I installed the new hard drive and the laptop has been working like a charm ever since. A small investment saved a valuable laptop for continued use. Installation was very easy.

Will be 5 stars for you if you follow the advice in the text
Before you buy, be sure that this 2.5"drive fits and can be secured in the HDD assembly (bay of your Dell computer. I needed to buy an aftermarket bracket to keep the drive secured to the assembly. Now it works perfectly and now I don't worry about moving the orientation of the computer from horizontal to vertical.

No cables included
I would have been much happier if the drives actually came with the power sata cables instead I had to go back to Dell and they are now on backorder

Hard Drive Upgrade
I am very pleased with my upgraded hard drive. it's faster, has more storage space and a larger ram. With previous purchases from Staples, I recommend Staples and their products.
