Backup drive system for my NAS.
Price with discount was very good! Easy to setup as a scheduled backup of my 2 bay NAS system. This provides me the assurance of having a separate / secondary backup of my data.

I feel ripped off.
This is not a replacement for the WD device that was being obsoleted.

this product ok but the storage is not completely 14tb ,maybe after can fixed when is sealed need to explained to costomer how much the storage go get it,thats it.

Determining drive capacity can be confusing at times because of the different measurement standards that are often used. When dealing with Windows and macOS, both decimal measurements and binary measurements of a drive's capacity will be seen. In either case, a drive's capacity is measured by using the total number of bytes available on the drive. As long as the drive displays the correct number of bytes (approximate), the drive's full capacity is available.

WD is the Best
Haven't had it for very long, but so far it's working well. I have multiple WD hard drives that I have owned for over 10 years and are still working, so I have confidence in this brand. The price of these HDD for the quality and longevity can't be beat.

Great drive
I bought this drive as it has lots of cache memories and I wanted a drive that had 7200 rpm which this drive also had. Easy to install and setup.

WD Black drive in WD Blue clothing
WD Blue 2TB (WD20EZBX) is a fast drive.
7200RPM, 256MB cache, you can easily get 200+ MBps read speeds. Fast enough to be a game drive (not as fast as an ssd but your only waiting 15 to 20 seconds at most for a game to load)
It is a SMR drive however, so writing does suffer a bit there. Although if your focus on read applications (like gaming), this is a totally ...

Good for storing videos/screenshots, not for games
I have no issues with storing videos and screenshots, and homework, and stuff like that on it. However, every game I have installed on it has occasional stutters and choppiness. WD Blue Hard drive
I use it for Backup can not tell the difference between CMR or SMR.Check for bad sectors . No bad sectors Did a speed test was in normal range;so put into service. No noise can not notice it at all. For backup service i have eight WD Blues, never had to replace one on warranity and the price is good.
