Excellent Case!
Perfect fit for my new iPad Mini. I like the convenient flip up compartment that allows me to store my Apple Pencil on the iPad without having to remove the case. Also, the trusted protection of Otterbox ensures my device is protected from drops and the elements. Strongly recommended.

Great protection for my iPad
The Defender series definitely protects my iPad. Plus, it's not horribly bulky and it has great grip. However, the cover is useless as a stand because the angle is super awkward as its too upright. If you're always going to be holding your iPad, then this case is great. But if you need it to be able to be propped up, get yourself a dedicated tablet stand.

the side hatch doesn't seat very well, and if there was a way to attached straps that would be great, but otherwise very good.

Poor design
The case doesn’t stay up or “lock” in the stand. Also, the rubber outer case doesn’t fit properly.
Previous iPad cases worked well. This case was poorly designed. I would return it if I could.

While this provides excellent protection, the case does not fit tightly against the screen making it very difficult to use the touchscreen, especially around the edges.

Good quality and fits well. I will say the holster for the defender series does not seem to fit as tight as previous purchases. My phone has fallen from the holster on several occasions. In the past, the phone would snap in tight in the holster whereas now it does not seem to fit as tight and does not “snap” in. Does not take much to bump it and have your phone come out...

Not as good as previous versions
I have a couple of issues with the Defender case for the Mini 6. first the door to accommodate a pencil comes off hinges routinely. I can see myself just removing it after a while if it continues to be a hassle. The shield stand should allow you to comfortably use your device with handsfree viewing in multiple positions, including landscape. Needs a lot of improvement
The case work great protecting my ipad from bumps and drops. (and the occasional pug.) But thats where the buck stops. Both this defender and the pro suffer from the same problem. The side panel that opens to charge the pencil is too weak and flimsy. My snapped off. It also creates the problem with allowing a lot of dirt and dust to get in. It become much worse when the...

Great Protection but…
Solid protection, a shoulder strap will be great. The case doesn’t fit well in the stand. Still, if need quality protection this is the way to go. I use this to protect my iPad mini while I doing research in the woods.
