Mac users DO NOT BUY
I have had this product for about a year and a half. This company will not update so the product is compatible with Macs. Mine worked and then stopped. I am highly disappointed in this because I need this for lots of numbers that I have to enter.

Targus Wireless Numeric Keypad - not what I was expecting
This keypad is very light-weight and has a "cheap" feel. It does not use standard Bluetooth, so using its dongle is mandatory, taking up a USB port. It often loses communication with the computer after it has been off sometimes for only a few hours. The remedy is unplug the dongle and reconnect - it always comes back when that is done. Should include USB-C adapter
Had to purchase a USB-C adapter as new Dell laptop has only these type of connections.

No numeric keypad keypress character input.
This item and all other numeric keypads do not work with a Dell XPS 17 9400 laptop. The brand new model laptop is not configured for numerics and plus, minus, multiply and divide character keypress are not active. Thus this numeric keypad should not be purchased for a Dell XPS 17 9400 laptop.

So far poor connection or just not working
I currently had this for 24 hours now and the morning I needed it th most if just lost all connection. That or it was just defected, maybe. I've tried following already the reset for it to see if could get it to connect on my macbook but it was to no avail. I buy this in order to write special characters using the ascii code in my laptop. But it is just good to write numbers. There is no lock in order to write the special characters while pressing "Alt" on my computers. Money badly spent. But if you are just data entering numbers, I guess it should make your work faster.

Ok....not as good as on the keyboard
This keypad works ok, but the number keys are not as responsive as the keys on a laptop or keyboard.

Love it!
I love this wireless numeric keypad. It is compact and easily tucks into my laptop case and using it allows me to key in numeric data much more quickly than the using the numbers above the letter keys. Great Buy!!

Terrible constuction; casual use maybe
Very cheap feeling, with a sizeable USB Fob for connectivity. After some usage, the circuit board is flexing, the wrong numbers are keying up, and I am forced to constantly review my inputs.
The distance from device to fob grew measurable shorter, until I had to keep the pad near the receiver. Replacing the battery resolves this, for only a short period of time.

This would've been the perfect 10-key except that the USB port has to be literally inches away from the keypad for it to pick up your keys. Returned the product & would not recommend.

Don't Buy
Do not bother. The connection between the keypad and the bluetooth adapter needs to be INCHES apart AND pointing JUST in the correct position. I really tried to get it to work, but it is just way too touchy. When it works it is good, but has a delay. I returned this item.
