Great Picture in bright rooms!
We have Windows galore in the living room. With my prior TV, we just didn't watch much on Sunny days, went into the darker family room. This new 95S in the living room was spectacular even when the sun was shining directly on the screen.

Samsung S95D 77 inch oled : very bad durability
bought the samsung S95d 77 oled! amazing tv in terms of of visuals . best i’ve seen . except it has one mayor dow. i bought it in August 2025 and once connect box died in december 2025. one connect box has died again about a month later this january 2026 . design flaw. but the oled panel is amazing . wish that one connect box was rectified by samsung for the many that ...

Great Picture in bright rooms!

Best TV I've ever watched in my 60+yrs of life
The TV is absolutely amazing, a little costly for my needs. But for the younger generation, the gamers, movie bengers, this is the Cadillac of TV 's

It's a TV
The resolution was much better on the display model at the store. It wasn't as crisp at home. The user interface is not intuitive. I'd give it an average rating.

Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings). Great contrast and depth of field!
I love the depth of field of the picture. Many shows are very dark and hard to see on the older tv's. Now I can see better contrast and can actually watch a show that has dark settings.

A true 5-star. Samsung is the King of the Hill.
This TV is a perfectionist’s dream. The external design is stunning—the panel is as thin as a sheet of paper. The "One Connect Box" is a game-changer; having a single, thin, transparent cable running to the TV makes it incredibly easy to hide wires. The picture is the only good thing about this TV
The picture is good but the remote doesn’t work half the time. Sometimes my TV turns itself on in the middle of the night. I’ll turn captions on and as soon as I turn off the TV the captions revert back to OFF. Bixby is a joke.. it never understands what I ask . Bernard, Thank you for sharing your experience with Samsung’s S95D TV. Please try these troubleshooting steps for your blank screen issue: 1. Check the One Connect cable for damage and solid connection. Disconnect and firmly reconnect the One Connect cable at both ends. Note: If the One Connect cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, or has a heavy object on top of it, it can cause an issue. The cable needs to be replaced if damaged. 2. Disconnect the One Connect Box (either by disconnecting its power cord, or the One Connect cable) to see if the TV displays an error message. If you see anything (like a message or picture) on the TV after disconnecting the One Connect Box, the One Connect Box needs to be replaced. If the TV is plugged into a wall outlet, turned on, and disconnected from the One Connect Box, but no message appears, your TV will need service. 3. Press the Home button on the remote. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues. Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power). 4. Confirm the TV is set to the same source as the external device. For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1. If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time, from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced. After you've reconnected the external device, turn it off and then back on. 5. Using HDMI Troubleshooting, you can check the connection to HDMI cables and external devices (takes approximately 2 minutes). Menu > Connected Devices > Connection Guide > Video Device > HDMI Troubleshooting If the issue persists after these steps, the TV may need service. So we can better investigate your issue and assist you towards a solution or replacement, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. When it works
Within a first couple of months, the one connect box stopped working. It was replaced under warranty. Now it appears to the one connect box went out again, just barely days out of a warranty. And being snowbirds we haven’t used it that much. So I’m kind of getting a running around to get the one connect box replaced under warranty.

Do not Buy!!!
Do not buy this TV. The One Connect boxes will go bad quickly and Samsung will not take care of even under warranty. Do your research on the One Connect box.

77" OLED S95D QN77S95DAFXZA
After 7 months the program control board went out. This was replaced under warranty. The board is only warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. We bought a top of the line sound bar and are disappointed with the sound volume level.

This is a very nice TV, great features; however this is our 2nd TV in less than a year. When we first got the TV died within a few days of owning it. They gave us a new one. Unfortunately it died on us 7 months after. The techs came to our house and fixed the software. We are now hoping it won't die again.

Great picture
We have our Samsung hung over our fireplace in an all glass sunroom. The display is phenomenal, regardless of weather or if blinds are open or closed. We recommend it to friends all tge time!

Amazing Viewing Experience!!
There's been a lot of improvements since I bought my first color TV in 1973. My new Samsung has an anti-glare technology that is absolutely incredible!! My room can have outside light and not affect the picture quality!! My wife likes the shades open and we both like watching college football; now everyone wins!!

Fantastic Picture

best TV yet
We decided to try the non-glare screen TV offered by Samsung.. We are so glad we did. Despite multiple light sources in our family room, the TV operates flawlessly with a non-glare screen and excellent picture.
