It’s very fast in everything I do.
It’s very fast from the moment you turn it on. I work with Excel, Power BI, and SQL, and it’s excellent. It barely heats up, and it charges very well and quickly.

The laptop stop working after one day
The laptop stop working after one day. On the first day the laptop got very hot when downloading software. Once it shut down and there is no way to tunt it on the second day but only the fan noise.

Great Graphics and CAD system
My ThinkPad P16v laptop was a great value. Processor, memory, storage and the video card all add up to a machine that has handled all of my AutoDesk Civil 3D (CAD) tasks without delay/drag/glitch. Flexible laptop....needs to be more open though.
Laptop - good specs on the laptop with good flexibility. Software - Windows 11 has become a very restrictive and intrusive (privacy is very important) OS, other options need to be offered (Linux Ubuntu has been pulled back - why?). Lenovo P16 V2
Great laptop. Use it for engineering software, and it handles it all. Display adapter options are great too, with multiple monitors. Definitely has the speed and power I need.

Don't bother with Dell or HP
For the longest time I've been looking for a laptop that can handle the most extreme CAD models and assembles. I have tried laptops from brands such as HP and Dell but to no avail. Very Capable Machine

Very nice.
One of my first laptops was a ThinkPad in the early 90s. I forgot how nice these computers are. As I get closer to retirement this ThinkPad should be my last laptop. Thank you for the perfect laptop.

Coming into the 2020s is hard
I chose this unit as a replacement for a trusty and wildly out-of-date Lenovo T470s. I have used nothing but Thinkpads for decades now (back to the IBM days), and appreciate the quality first and foremost, and the features. Excellent choice for engineering programs!
This is an excellent laptop for running engineering software, I was able to run Solid works without it crashing or my computer didn't sound like it was about to explode!

Performing as expected
Very pleased so far - 3 weeks in. Laptop performing as advertised. No significant negatives so far, just the expected annoyances with moving files and setting up stuff on new machine.

Mostly amazing laptop
I’m an Engineering major at college, and the ThinkPad P16v offers very good performance, although it is rather expensive I do believe that for those who need the extra power it is worth the money. This is a Beast!
I do a lot of video editing and renders are much smoother on this Workstation. The RTX3000 is just what I need to get the job done without any worry of freezing or bogging down. The battery life is also more impressive than I expected having a larger GPU.
