It didn’t work. Apparently it’s a long standing issue that the nvme won’t appear in bios.
I sent the drive back, and still haven’t received a refund.

Great but be wary!
The ssd is great, though it sucks you can remove the heatsink, I had to buy another one because of that annoying mistake. So an easy removable heatsink would be awesome in the future.

SSD for PS5 works great
I was looking for a memory for my PS5 and this was the one. Even within WD you find similar models but they have variations in capacity and price. Works very good; In case you are thinking of using it for your PS5, rest assured that it will serve you just as well as those designed exclusively for PS5.

One of the best SSDs you can get on the market
Speedy and that nice 5 year warranty, plus at a reasonable price when they go on sale. I bought 2 of these in 2023 (one without heatsink) and one more early this year (2024) and so far I have no complaints.

Me and my nvme
Drive is excellent, perfect size and speed. Installation however can be tricky. Make sure you have a supply of tiny screws and a magnetic screwdriver. Otherwise like me you end up despising tiny fingered Asians.
