Defective Product Doesn't Work with ps5
I bought this a few months ago (the one with heatsink) and installed it in my ps5. I followed all the directions from Sony and formatted it. It worked alright at first but as of a month ago it is causing some kind of interference with the PS5's display and then the ps5 was stuck on blulight while turning on.

easy to install
read write speeds as suggested in technical specifications. easy to install as all nvme. the edition without heat sink is very thin. i suggest always put some thermalpad and heatsink on these drives. less thermal is more lief for them as always. not to mention the speed stability with them.

Misleading WD website.
The website is misleading. Beware companies using MB (Megabytes) when the speed ratings shown actually match Mb (Megabits) which is obviously 8X smaller or slower if comparing speed. While this drive is performing at the speeds shown in Megabits, it is absolutely not in MegaBytes.

Works great with Mac Pro 2013
Works like it should with my Mac Pro 2013 "trashcan". I had a Samsung 980 Pro but after their latest firmware update that drive started misbehaving. Apparently Samsung's controllers don't play nicely with macs. WD was recommended by the mac community and it has been a good decision.

Love my old one
I would give it 5 stars but it's not on gamestop website and other retailers other than your website having a exclusive item only on your websites is not good I would bye but not paying 900 over the internet I will do it in a store gamestop

Too slow
The 2TB SN850X NVMe does not perform to the advertised 7000 Mb/s rate. WD website is not user friendly enough to find if there is a driver that needs installation to operate the SN850X as an external on a Mini Mac M2.

Easy setup, runs fast, great price!
I bought the 1TB with the Heatsink for my PS5, took me about 5 minutes to install. Runs great, copies games and other files really fast. Bought mine in Sweden so it was a little more expensive then it is now. I simply love it. All reviews says the same: it is the best! Better than Samsung and so on.
But one advice, now that they are so cheap; go for the 2TB. Trust me yo...

Got a defective product
This drive was unusable from the start, my laptop would not recognize the ssd at all so it would not format it. I removed my old ssd and tried to use this ssd as main, windows was able to "fix" this issue during repair... everything worked after that, then i installed a program to check the speed of this ssd. It would NOT give me the 7300 advertised, instead i got 3710....
