Don't waste your money
This TV is not user friendly and trying to navigate through all the options is overwhelming. We haven't used it in months because we get mad every time we do. Complete waste of money.

Terrible rendering and contrast
I have been so disappointed with this TV. I am glad that I purchased the VIP warranty. Had to replace the main panel twice already in less then a year. It still has a difficult time rendering dark shadows. Watching darker shows like Wednesday or Black Rabbit is nearly impossible.

If the image you’re seeing doesn't meet your expectations, there are several adjustments you can make to the picture settings. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode. If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Colour and picture quality good when viewed straight on not so good from the side.
Features generally good but connectivity to my bell satellite receiver a pain..

Run away from all Samsung
Stay away from this TV, and Samsung period.
The warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on.
I have had repair men to my house 4 times to fix an issue that is still not fixed. The latest is that the part is on backorder with no ETA. We are notified of this 60 minutes before they were due to arrive. Remember each visit requires you unmounting and remounting this T...

Great for Sports, Movies and Gaming!
Made the switch from Samsung Crystal UHD to Q8F. Love the quality of pictures from gaming, movies, watching tech videos and live sports. Apps are super responsive and sound is amazing!

Features are not all available
It's not the best that I bought. The Q80D is not fully functiona on this model. Image quality is not there when you look closely and especially when you try make some adjustment well it just say this it's not available on this model....Disapointed

Good picture
The picture is great, for TV, movies, and gaming. Sound is good but I wish the speakers had more volume and bass.

There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience. 1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. 2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound. 3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode. Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again. If you need more help, Samsung is here for you! Great affordable television
This is a great mid tier television....recently purchased for our bedroom and it was miles above our previous Samsung tv. Great for all aspects of entertainment as well....games look beautiful and HDR content is crisp and bright. This thing is packed with smart features as well....integrates well with SmartThings. Cant go wrong with Samsung!
