Do not recommend
I recently purchased this TV and Xfinity Streaming app does not work so an external device is needed to use Xfinity/Comcast and this problem will NOT be fixed. All the other apps work except Xfinity/Comcast. There are a few features that I like but I find the ads over power everything. IMO this TV is about ads and not function or what the customer wants. Samsung Full hd tv 43 in
Tv is of great value. color is a little on the pixel side. has alot of spotted areas. size is good for my bedroom. haven't worrked out all the stations yet . thanks for the product.

I just got a new TV and I really love it
I just got a new TV as a early birthday / Christmas gift and I really love that the smart things app has a virtual TV Remote because i don't lose it and I also love how the remote is a basic remote and not those fancy remotes

Easy & User friendly
It has a great display. It's easy and user friendly. Simple to setup, including adding in my account details. Volume is clear and loud enough. Sleek and slim design makes it very modernized.

CEC is a pain
The TV is fine, looks and sounds nice, with the sound bar. The issue is the CEC, it routinely turns the TV on when its not in use. this is very annoying. turning it off is inconvenient because you need to use multiple remotes. Leaving it on turns the TV on when you don't want it on.

Disable Power On with Mobile: Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile 2. Disable Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC): External devices may wake the TV: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) 3. Check for enabled timers: Sleep Timer or Off Timer might be active: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off / Sleep Timer 4. Power cycle the TV by unplugging it from the wall for 30 seconds. 5. Check the remote to ensure it’s not sending unintended commands (like stuck buttons). 6. Update your TV’s software: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now If the issue persists, we recommend reaching out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our new F6000F smart tv fits just right.
We really enjoy our new F6000F tv. It has all the features we need. Our last Samsung lasted almost twenty years. We used it in our RV and in our kitchen when camping season was over. We chose to upgrade and are very happy.

Overall it is a nice TV for the price
We find that the sound is not very loud. I am not hard of hearing, but putting it on its max of 100...it sometimes is still too low.
Also we chose to skip the "Smart Set up" but a notice keeps popping up everytime we turn tv on

No Optical audio out jack or any audio out jack.
Was going to buy this 40" to replace my 15 year old outdated Samsung 32" I have mounted in my kitchen with a great soundbar/subwoofer. Lack of attention to detail
There are several features that show a lack of attention to detail on the part of the designers. When selecting "Source," the little icons for TV, HDMI, etc. are very small and they do not change much when selected. That makes it harder than it should be to see which icon is active. First, to enlarge the menu on your screen, go to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility> Enlarge. Here in the Accessibility Menu, you can also adjust the Closed Captioning. Please note that, depending on the content you are watching (for example, inside the Netflix app), you will find the CC menu on the Play bar while watching a Show or Movie. Finally, to set a Sleep Timer, go to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Sleep Timer. As you mentioned, you do have more options inside the SmartThings app, such as setting a routine to turn off/turn on your TV at specific times every day. I hope these tips help.
