Add on necessities which should be standard CD/DVD
It is nice to be able to use CD DVD drive but 'sad' that they aren't included in 'new' machines...

Necessary add-on
My last 2 towers haven't had a DVD slot which I hadn't needed until now. Bought the HP DVDRW portable drive and haven't had any issues with it so far. Very happy with the purchase.

Drivers would not download
I hoped this would be a basic plug and play. Unfortunately Drivers would not download to Microsoft Surface with Windows 11. Description said it was compatible with Windows. Nothing I did would work. After wasting a lot of time and ag to get it to work I finally opted to return it.

Nice little drive, inexpensive, easy install
With manufacturers making laptops thinner and lighter, there goes the DVD. For anybody who has been around computers for some time we have watched the demise of the peripherals. This little drive by HP fills the gap and is very easy to setup and get on with the job.

My new DVD
I love my new HP DVD player. I purchased it with an all-in-one HP computer so I could watch movies and create DVD'S. It does both with ease. I would recommend it to anyone. Small and lightweight and easy to plug in .
