It ain't that easy.
I bought this to send music from my computer to my stereo. I am not tech savy. I got it to work but it does not read all of the music I had stored on my computer. They are all jpeg format but I need a different application to read all of the music.

Logitech Bluetooth Adapter
Great value - used the adapter to stream Apple iTunes to a vintage stereo receiver. Love it. Installs in less than a minute.

It’s really good, but it doesn’t have any kind of password so anyone and everyone can connect to it

Product description was misleading. I was looking for a product to do the opposite and broadcast a signal. If it had advertised it was a "receiver" instead of adapter I would not have purchased.
As a music receiver - works perfectly, range is limited and not as far as advertised. If you are looking for a stronger signal, buy the higher priced ones.
