Intellectual property astounding.
Didn’t get this one because it wasn’t in stock. I understand this is a copyright manufacturer. Love the idea. I guess, the intellectual property has spread now.

"Lightening" does NOT transmit data!
It turn outs that I was looking for a connector that would transmit data -not a power cord. Better description that "lightening" would help. I expected lightening speed data transfer -not a mere power cord.

Great decision
Bought this to replace a frayed 10 foot wire cord. This one seems to be far superior and I feel confident that it will last.

Response from Staples :
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The USBLT3MW is a charge and sync cable, meaning data transmission is possible. It is possible the cable could be faulty if you have been unable to transmit any type of data between the Apple device and computer. If you have not done so already, we would recommend returning the cable either for refund or exchange with the seller. Brandon, StarTech.com Support

great product
I have bought this product before and was happy with it. Therefore, when needed another one, knew where to go to get it.
