This is not large enough and when put under a heavy door it slides shut with the door and does not stop it or hold it open.

The door is stopped
If you are looking for a doorstop that will keep a door open this will suit your needs. We use it on carpeted floors so I can't say how it will work on hard surfaces.

Review of BigFoot doorstop
The doorstop was fairly small and too small to use in our building with the small gap between door and floor. I will be returning them. better measure!

Ok -- not great
When they were first used it would keep the heavy automatic closing door open but over time the stopper is starting to slide allowing the door to close. We have even tried to use two of them and they still start to slip causing the door to close. I would not recommend these for a heavy door.
