Lock mechanism is unreliable

The plastic used in constructing this item is slightly too thin. But the main problem is that the lock mechanism is unreliable and if not used very very carefully is prone to unlock while you are carrying a box full of papers with unhappy results. Latch is your poorly designed.

Decent for a while, but the latching mechanism is purposely based off a weak point in the plastic (not an actual hinge, nor is it made of a more durable material like metal ) so expect that to be your first failure point. Similar to bending a credit cart back and forth long enough to just before it cracks apart - this is the hinge mechanism.

Ma 2e boîte de classement

C'est la 2e boîte de classement du même modèle que j'achète. Je les adore. Elles sont très pratiques. J'adore le fait que je peux les empiler : ça prendmoins de place. J'y entrepose mes documents pour les impôts dans un et mes autres documents dans l'autre.

A place for your paper stuff

Have stuff you need to kinda organize - jam in a box, tuck in the closet, and pull out on random occasions? This file caddy is the way to go - large enough for a solid amount of stuff, small enough that it won't weigh so much when you haul it out for that single paper jammed at the bottom of everything. at least you are sure that is where it is. If I had non paper stuff...

Aucunement représentatif

Est arrivé avec aucun séparateur à l’intérieur contrairement à la photo !! Complètement vide et décevant. Finalement on paie ce prix pour une boîte ‘de luxe’ qui est finalement un boite de plastique vide

Letter size Storex File Caddy

It works well for my needs, is sturdy enough, stacking nicely and taking up minimal space.The color black is neutral and is easy to live with. I bought it on sale, so price was right.

Not the size listed in the specifications

I ordered this box to store small binders in vehicles. According to the measurements listed in the specifications it should have worked. The boxes were way smaller 11" high I had to send them back.
