Great product bad software
I could have enjoy the Prompter but for the life of me, the app is way much of headache , too much trouble shooting and still won't work, I have to return it.

The software does not work and cannot solve the is
The software ”Camera Hub” is not working at all ane the AI-generated support does not solve my problem. It means that I have an almost-there prompter just as a monitor..

Near perfect BYOC teleprompter
I have been using this for about 6 months now and from a reliability perspective it's pretty flawless once you have dialed in the position and setup. I'm using it with the low profile Elgato arm which gets it to the right height and makes it easy to move out of the way. It's also really lightweight and can fit almost any webcam or camera you want to throw at it.

Great Teleprompter
Fantastic product! I bought this a few weeks back and have been using it frequently for Zoom meetings. I love being able to look right at the camera. It works great with my Nikon Z6 with a Z-Mount 50mm lens on it. Hyvä kuvaamisen sujuvoittamiseen ja palavereihin
Olen käyttänyt Prompteria sekä videoiden kuvaamiseen, missä se on auttanut ja sujuvoittanut kuvaamista todella paljon, mutta myös Teams palavereissa. Se että pystyn laittamaan osallistujat Prompteriin ja puhumaan suoraan kameralle ja näkemään muiden naamat samaan aikaan on auttanut todella paljon. Olenpa joskus saattanut katsoa myös Youtube videoita prompterin kautta.

More value than you can imagine
I've been using the elgato Prompter since it was launched, and I can tell you no other product has had as much impact on my content. Add arabic language to voice detection
Expanding the voice sync languages to arabic with different arabic accent would expand you sales in the middle east region, such a huge market you still missing, please add Arabic language as soon as you could

More Work Than It's Worth
The teleprompter function itself works wonderfully. I really enjoy the ability for the text to be synced with my voice and move at a speed that works for my cadence. My issue mostly lies with the software that you HAVE to download to make full use of the prompter. Great prompter but a couple of gripes.
I love this prompter but it's a shame it's so restrictive over what web camera you can use. It means I can position my camera where it needs to be but have to record the session using alternative software.
I really like the new voice sync to control the speed of the scroll although I had to upgrade my graphics card to make it function.

Couldn't Live Without It!

99% of the way there.
I own quite a bit of Elgato's products - this Prompter was the latest addition.

We are sorry to hear that. That's definitely not how it should be.
The Camera Hub software does not normally interfere with the capture cards.
We are constantly working on our software - if you like, we can take a look at what's going wrong.
We couldn't find a ticket under the email, but you may have tried by phone.
We are here to help, but sometimes, the requests exceed even our capacity limits.
Please open a ticket at help.elgato.com and we will do this via email.
Since the colleagues are probably requesting the log files, we would have to go through them anyway.

Amazing Product, Ehh Softwarre
The product is very solid and does exactly what it says it will. My issue with the prompter and most Elgato products is that the software can be finicky. My main issue is that the computer thinks this is an additional monitor. Not only that, it almost defaults to being the primary monitor no matter what your system settings say. Disappointing
This has been a bit of a disappointment after seeing all the gushing influencers talking about it. I also have another teleprompter without a built-in screen, so I am comparing it to that. I bought it with the FaceCam Pro but I also have a Lumix camera that I use it with.

Perfect for Twitch chat!
I have been using this for Twitch streaming and recording videos since it released and it's been a game changer. I primarily use it to put my twitch chat on the promoter so I don't miss messages and can maintain eye contact while responding. I miss far fewer messages this way! It's great for scripts for videos also. Love it! Once again, Elgato produces another top class...

[Full disclosure - I received this product for free for testing]. Teleprompters for creators is one of those "if you know, you know" type deals. Great features and wonderful versatility.
The Prompter is an excellent addition for both offline and live content. Being to keep better eye contact while not straying from the script is amazing. It also allows for a deeper connection with a live audience with speaking to them directly. When not using it for content the Prompter also acts as a extra monitor which is a nice added feature.
