Nice pen
I love the way this pen writes and feels in my hand. It is very smooth and just glides along.

THE PENS LEAK INK WHEN UPRIGHT. WHEN YOU START TO WRITE THERE IS A BLOB OF INK ON THE POINT. GO BACK TO THE OLD INK.

Cool colors
The only reason I'm giving a four star, is I like the Z Grip Flight a little better. I kinda write fast and the ball on the Z Grip Flight keeps up with my pace. The have beautiful colors and they actually are incredible! I just need a fast point to keep up with my penmanship..

lieve I have a rotten batch
We use these for our everyday pens! This recent order has not been as good for example, Evertime you go to write something it doesn't seem to write like it should and its brand new! Please advise and the second problem is it goes from light to dark and thinner lines. Please advise.

Decent Pen, Has Room For Improvement
Goods pens, but they are a bit wobbly at the tip compared to say the Zebra F-301, making the writing experience less confident and precise.

I was siding with the negative reviewers until...
... I finally realized the pens ship with the smallest of little caps over the writing tip. Looks at first as though the tip is slightly absorbent like a Sharpie, but is not receiving ink. I finally discovered it's the tiniest of protective caps. Just knock it off and you're good to go. Marking the box with this little instruction might be helpful, but I could just be a...

writes well and love the colors
These write really well. I love that they come with a cover over the ball point when they arrive. They write very well and color (purple and pink) are true colors. Now, can you put a logo on them, too? My clients would love these!

I would 100% buy this pens time and time again because they
These pens are so useful and they write so smooth. I have had my pens for almost a year and I use the, 24/7 and the still have not ran out. These pens are by far the most amazing pens I have used in my whole entire life.

Best Pen EVER
I am writing this review because I see it has a low rating and I'm worried it will be discontinued as I've found it's difficult to find in stores near me. Please, please don't stop making this pen. I've used it basically my whole life; at every school and job I've ever had. I even wrote my wedding vows with one of these pens.

Not a fan of the ""improved"" pen
I have been using Zebra's Z-Grip retractable pens for as long as I can remember -- well over a decade. I recently purchased a package billed as improved with ""smoother"" ink. I disagree. Rather than gliding along the page as it has in the past, the ink is much more splotchy, which causes the letters to blend together. My handwriting is not the best to begin with, but n...

Decent
Just bought these hoping they will work great for me. So far I am not super impressed. They leak a little and leave ink blobs at the beginnings of some words. My biggest question that I can't find an answer to: are these pens acid free?

How about some Instructions on use?
Just bought a pack of Z-Grip ballpoint pens and find each pens tip is covered in a blob of some type of rubbery substance. If you push hard enough and long enough it will break through but collects ink on it and smears. If you pick it off it will work. No where on the packaging or on your web site does it address this issue. Now this maybe a common feature in today's pe...

We have been buying these
We have been buying these for years, and do NOT like the new ink (and my group buys approx. 20 boxes at a time 4 times a year). New does not always mean ""improved,"" it just means different. The new ink does not write as smooth as the old ink, kind of scratchy and blobs compared to the old ink. The new pens do not last as long as many just quit.

It is a good pen. I used the blue ink most of the time. I wonder if Zebra sell the core ink separately. It is a waste once the ink is finished and I need to throw away the body of the pen. There are a lot of good at this pen.

The ""new ink"" is horrible
The ""new ink"" is horrible! This pen used to be great because its ink was smooth and blob-free. Now it blobs ALL THE TIME, through multiple boxes and different pens. This used to be the absolute best pen. Why did you ruin a great pen????????

I bought one as an experiment and was suprised by the superior ergonomy compared to any other ballpoint pen. However, don't like buying a new body every time it runs out - I would strongly recommend making these refillable.

I love writing with these
I love writing with these pens but the last few packets I've bought, pretty much all of the pens have just stopped working for no apparent reason. Ink is more than half full but not coming out? Really annoying!!!

I have always purchased the Pilot G2 retractable pen but had a coupon for the Z Grip Retractable pen x 2 packages. Not at all happy with them. I have to press hard to get ink flow and the color is not very black, hard to see. I'll stick to the G2's and I can get refills for them.

These use to be my Favorite pens! I am in sales and go through a lot of pens. They have recently changed the ink and now they are junk. They smear when writing on leagal documents and leak in my pocket. Never had that problem before. Please Zebra go back to original ink it was the best ball point pen for the price hands down.

As a teaching assistant, this pen has become my favorite for grading. But where do you get ink refills? This site does not seem to carry any.
