Startech.com® 40-Pin IDE PATA to SATA adapter converter helps to connect a SATA device to an IDE/ATA motherboard and is ideal for use with older motherboards that do not support SATA.
Startech.com® 40-Pin IDE PATA to SATA adapter converter provides ODD support which allows you to add Blu-ray, DVD or CD-ROM drives to an older IDE motherboard. Converter provides support for 48-bit logical block addressing.
