Using a hardware controller, it comes preconfigured as RAID 0, which stripes the drives together for faster performance. If you don't need RAID 0, RAID 1, and JBOD are also supported. In terms of connectivity, this array is equipped with two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports, one of which is used for host connectivity, while the other remains available for daisy-chaining up to five additional devices.
