    I was attracted to it because of the pretty design. But I gave it further consideration because it's thin and round. I can lay other things on the desk and don't feel like I have to move the pad because it's so thin. The edges won't curl up (or get peeled by my kids) because it's round - which is often the motion you're using with the mouse. Only 4 starts because I felt [$] was a little pricey - but my daughter really wanted it so I paid it.
