A Life Saver

I had used a saddle stapler for my booklets and pamphlets, but in the middle of a job, it broke. Unable to obtain a saddle stapler locally, I found this long-armed stapler. Hesitantly, I bought it, not knowing whether it would do the job. To my amazement, it worked well. I finished my job quickly and well. If the paper guide is set well, the stapler puts the staple in accurately. It enabled me to finish the job on time and have a finished product I could be proud of. I would recommend this stapler to anyone.

This product was bought for my church to staple multi-page programs that are 8 1/2" x 11" sheets folded down the middle and stapled on the fold. The construction of the stapler is such that it is difficult to ensure that the staple is consistently on the fold.

When it works , it' s fine. But about every third staple is a " misfire" - one of two prongs is crooked.

I couldn't staple the directory that I made as secretary for my golf league. The directory which the pages and cover folded from eight and a half by eleven size cover and inside pages.

I have a paper booklet to copy. When it lays flat, the total paper size is 11 x 17. When I fold it in half to be a book, the paper size is 8 x 11. I'd like to staple the spine in the middle when the copied booklet is opened. I hope this makes sense. Is this what this stapler is for? Thanks.

  No. It is like a regulat stapler just with the ability to staple larger items such as books or pamphlets. I made song books out of 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper. Then stapled them together to make a song book for the girl scouts to use for caroling. Very easy to use and I can adjust this stapler to what ever size paper I am using. Really a neat product and a good price.
