I bought these to hang a banner on a metal building at the town fair. They worked well. The magnet was strong enough to hold the weight without problems. Not very stylish, but certainly worked.

These are great for hanging things from metal doors, but one year the magnets were small and ill-fitted and sometimes they fall totally apart because of the way they are assembled. They are still the best kind for what I need them for.
