Q: The "tab" that's inside the unit that fits into a "slot" of some sort has broken off. I believe it tells the unit that the door is closed and not still open. Since the "tab" is broken off, the machine thinks the door is still open. Is there a way to order a replacement part that includes this tab. It seems like it is connected by 2 screws. Without a replacement part, this shredder can no longer function. It worked great for a year. Asked on 12/28/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer?
