I spent the time to put his chair together, then had to return it. When I sat in the seat, my back got no closer than 5 inches from the seat back. It is not made for women (or kids) who don't weigh a lot. At 100 pounds (or so), I could find no comfortable way to sit in it. My back was not supported. I find the lumbar support reference laughable.

Fortunately, Staples was fabulous about taking it back without the box.

I needed a comfortable chair that I could sit in for hours while on the computer. The reviews on this chair seemed to fit the bill. Unfortunately this chair was not available in my local Staples store, so I couldn't test it out ahead of time. I took a chance and ordered it online and overall, I'm very happy with it. My only complaint (even though some people might think it's a pro) is that the cushions are a little too firm in my opinion. I sat in a lot of chairs in the store when I was trying to find the perfect one and some seat cushions are just softer than others. The cushions are definitely thick which is great, but I'm hoping they get a little softer over time. Everything else is great about this chair - it assembled in no time, the fabric is very nice, it feels solid and it is comfortable to sit in for hours.

i bought over 10 of these chairs for the office - and will buy more ! I was buying HON brand at a much higher price - these are more comfortable and less expensive - employees are happy since they sit 6-8hrs a day !

Q:
Is there anything that will clean the fabric portion of the chair?
It appears as though body heat has transferred a residue of color
from clothing to the back portion. ALSO

Can I use different casters on this chair? I need casters that will
make the chair easier to move on carpet while sitting in it.

  The chair is designed to be used on carpet. The castors do not lock so you might have trouble getting in and out of the chair due to the chair sliding.
