This is a good product for people who want to protect their hands from muscle strain or carpel tunnel. I don't have any of those symptoms, because I am careful not to do anything to cause strain. This one-hole punch is very easy to use and unlike the one-hole punch w/o the grip, it requires very little pressure to squeeze close. When using, it is very quiet also and the confetti that is collected does not fall out of the holder.

I own the regular metal one-hole punch w/o the grip and it makes a loud noise whenever I use it. It also is very hard to squeeze together to punch the paper. I'm not sure if it's because it is of course, inexpensive, or just needs some oil. I don't think it came with oil but I feel like that's what it needs because it just doesn't work smoothly.

So I like this new one-hole punch very much because of how less effort it takes to punch. The con is that it is kinda big. But feels sturdy and has a non-slip quality to it.

The product punches great, but getting what needs to be punched is a little difficult. The flap that holds the little pieces of holes has a tab for easy dumping and that is what catches on the paper or card stock that you are needing to punch. You need to work at it to slide the paper in to be punched. When working at a fast pase, it is very difficult and frustrating. The little tab needs to be bent inwards more for it to work great. I will never buy another one like this one.

I used this to punch holes in my wedding programs. After about 100+ uses my hand got a bit tired but overall it is a great product. It traps the little pieces of paper and doesn't make a mess.

We buy this hole punch three at a time so there is always one available. We do not use them for heavy jobs and they break constantly. The spring mechanism is very flimsy. There are no other choices at Staples for a good single hole punch.

BOUGHT THIS TO USE AT WORK. IT LASTED 8 MONTHS AND BROKE. LOOKS LIKE A WELD BROKE? THE METAL CAME APART. NO WAY TO FIX IT. I WASN'T IMPRESSED WITH IT'S PUNCHING POWER EITHER. HAND GRIPS WERE NICE, BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT.
