The Welsh Corgi was brought to Wales by the Celts. The word corgi, in fact, comes from the Celtic words for "dwarf" and "dog." These dogs have a thick, dense coat and adapt to most climates. They are playful, strong, even-tempered dogs that make suitable companions for cattle ranchers, senior citizens, and families. This wonderful calendar features both the Cardigan and Pembroke breeds of Welsh Corgis.
