It can be difficult to pin down the color blue. Depending on the exact shade, blue is conservative, tranquil, cold, serene, or even electric, to name just a few descriptors. If you are in the market for a blue ring binder, you have as many options as there are adjectives to describe the color. Binders in a plethora of blue sizes and styles are available to suit your specific needs--and whatever emotion you may wish to convey.

Blue Collar
Binders built for hard work are an essential organizational tool in both educational and office settings. A backpack necessity for many students, ring binders are used to collect lecture notes, store homework assignments, and spotlight special reports. In the business world, blue ring binders often house proposals or presentations and can be the takeoff point for making a favorable first impression. Binders also make handy receptacles for instructional manuals, by-laws, or ledgers.

Big Blue
Blue binders are available in sizes to fit any organizational need. For particularly large presentations, choose 5" D-ring binders with the capacity to hold more than 1,200 sheets of letter-sized paper. Alternatively, you may need a small binder to house a report or short proposal. Standard 1/2" to 1" ring folders are designed to hold up to 200 pages. As a general rule of thumb, the bigger the binder, the bigger the ring size. D-rings typically hold up to 25% more than similarly-sized round rings and are considered the more robust choice.
