What Exactly Do Disinfecting Wipes Do?
In a market saturated with cleaning wipes and supplies, it can be hard to decipher the exact purpose for each product. Multipurpose cleaners may sound like a great catchall product, but when it comes to viruses, bacteria, and fungi, they won’t cut it. Disinfecting wipes are the only cleaning wipes that can kill these microorganisms, and prevent new bacteria from growing. When it comes to keeping you and your family healthy, this small difference in labeling makes a huge difference.
Contact Time is Key
Disinfecting wipes are a one-step cleaner - no sprays and rags, pre-cleaning, or rinsing required for them to do their job. But only when used properly. Disinfecting wipes can only be used on hard surfaces, and will not work on hands or porous surfaces. To use, wipe the surface until it is visibly wet. The product then has to remain on the surface for typically three to five minutes. Be sure to read your product's instructions for the exact time. This means that if the surface begins to dry before time is up, you will need to re-wipe with a new cleaning wipe. No rinsing is required, except if you have cleaned a surface that will later come in contact with food to prevent any ingestion.

Buy a couple of canisters for personal use, or bulk cartons of cleaning wipes for offices, retail, and restaurants.
