Metro Panel Frames are made of manufactured wood panel (MDF) and routed into a frame without miter joints at the corners. The frames have a 1 3/4 in. wide face and come with a single white mat with a white core. Moldings are attached to the back of each frame and create space for up to four thicknesses of mat board. These moldings are slotted to receive steel spring clips which tension against the black chipboard backing, holding in the artwork and glass, and applying pressure to keep it flat. An easel is included with sizes up to 7 in. x 9 in. for tabletop display. The glass is perfectly clean and the edges are ground smooth. Snap in clips are provided for hanging.
