Staples AutoRestock allows you to save time by subscribing to a delivery schedule for the essentials you purchase most like paper, ink and toner. You’ll receive 5% off for your first subscription item. If you subscribe to two or more items, you’ll save 10% on all subscription items! Some exclusions apply, see Terms below for more details. Once enrolled, you don’t need to do anything else. Your subscription will ship on the schedule you set until it is canceled.
You can find AutoRestock products and learn more about the program on the AutoRestock page. The terms and conditions below (the “Terms”) apply to your AutoRestock purchases from this site (including any related websites, mobile applications or contractual arrangements). These Terms are between you and Staples, located at 500 Staples Drive in Framingham, Massachusetts, and govern our respective rights and obligations. Please read these Terms carefully. By subscribing to the AutoRestock program, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms. Staples may in its discretion change these Terms and may notify you by posting updated Terms at any time. Notices to you may be made by posting updated Terms or if you are already enrolled by e-mail, or by regular mail, or as otherwise agreed between you and Staples (including in each case via links). By continuing to participate in the Auto Restock program after we change these Terms, you agree to accept those changes, whether or not you actually reviewed them. If you do not agree to any changes, you must cancel your subscriptions. Your Auto Restock purchases will be governed by the version of the Terms that is current at the time of shipment. These Terms are in addition to any other applicable terms that govern the use of Staples.com, including without limitation the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice (which are incorporated by reference in these Terms).
You need to have a Staples.com® account to subscribe. Any items you subscribe to for Auto Restock will be sent to the selected address at the chosen frequency until the subscription is cancelled.
There is no commitment. You can change, cancel or skip delivery at any time through the AutoRestock page in your Staples.com account, as described in the below FAQ. If we receive your instructions by the "Last date to edit delivery", displayed within the subscription under the name, the changes will take effect for your upcoming delivery. Changes made after that date will apply to your following scheduled delivery.
You must select a method of payment when you subscribe. The accepted payment methods are detailed in the FAQ below. You authorize Staples to charge your payment method for any items delivered through your subscriptions under the Auto Restock program. For your first order of each subscription, you will be charged immediately. After your first order, you will be charged when your order is shipped.
The amount of each subscription order may vary. The price of your first order is confirmed upon subscription. For subsequent orders, the price will be the then-current cost of the item at the time of shipment plus any sales tax. While enrolled in the Auto Restock program, you agree to pay for the items delivered through your subscriptions and you agree that your payment method will be charged such amounts.
Staples reserves the right in its discretion to terminate the Auto Restock program or any subscriptions at any time without notice.
How can I pay for my subscription?
You can pay for your subscription using any of the following methods (including stored cards):
We cannot accept cards issued outside the United States.
You cannot pay for your AutoRestock orders with gift cards, rebate cards, or 3rd part payment services (i.e., PayPal, Klarna or Apple Pay).
Is there a minimum number of items I must purchase for AutoRestock?
No. You can subscribe to as many or as few items as you'd like.
Do I still receive my Staples Easy Rewards benefits on subscription purchases?
Yes. AutoRestock subscriptions count toward your Easy Rewards earnings.
Can I subscribe to more items at any time?
Yes. Subscribe to any eligible item and select the frequency of how often you want that item delivered. If you add this item prior to your "Last date to edit delivery", you can expect it with your next delivery. Otherwise, expect this item to be in the following delivery. Can I add multiple items to a subscription?
Yes. You can group subscription items with the same shipping frequency into different subscription lists. Select Subscribe next to the item you would like to add and then select the subscription you would like to add it to. Note: A single item cannot be added to multiple subscriptions for the same shipping location.
Can I apply my Staples Easy Rewards or coupons toward my subscription when I subscribe?
No, Easy Rewards and coupons cannot be applied to AutoRestock orders.
Why did the price of my subscription change? Can it change each time?
The amount of each subscription order may vary. The price of your first order is confirmed upon subscribing. For subsequent orders, the price will be the then-current cost of the item at the time of shipment plus any sales tax.
When will I be charged?
For your first order, you will be charged immediately. After your first order, you will be charged when your order is shipped.
What happens if an item in my subscription is out of stock?
If an item in your subscription is out of stock, we will notify you by email.
Can I return items from my subscription?
Returns will be treated like any other staples.com return. You can bring your item to any Staples® retail store, even if you ordered it online or by catalog. If you're unable to go to a store, we also offer convenient online returns. Navigate to Orders > Returns & Cancellations in the top-right corner to return an item or contact us by scrolling up and selecting the Contact Us button located in the gray section above this article, right of the Search help topics bar. Why did Staples cancel my subscription or order?
Staples may cancel your subscription if the item is no longer eligible for AutoRestock or the item has been discontinued or changed. If you'd like to subscribe to a different item, please view eligible AutoRestock items and subscribe. Orders can also be canceled when there are problems with the credit card or payment method you provided. If using our mobile app, the Contact Us button is located at the bottom of the screen. You will be notified via email in the event your order is canceled.
