Does not work on enamel paint.
Used these for a sign that will be in the sun and rain. Aluminum surface was sanded, cleaned with denatured alcohol, spray painted with gloss enamel, and cured for 3 days before marking. The next day, it got wet during installation so I gave it a quick wipe with a terry cloth and I was horrified to see the "extreme permanent marker" came off on the cloth. Only a ghos...

Live my pens

Black Sharpies
I had need of the sharpies to mark boxes, as I'm moving and need to label the boxes for the rooms they will be going into once I get into the new place. I would recommend this item not only is good for labeling but other things as well.

Not so extreme
After a week of using this marker to place my name on a plastic container, the ink washed off with plain water. I can mark my name again, but I expected "Extreme" to never wash off. I was wrong.

Used 1 sharpie to write on ziploc bagā¦next day ink had smeared and rubbed offā¦āExtreme permanentā? I donāt think soā¦years ago Sharpies used to stay on anything you wrote onā¦.

Weather Resistant Marker
We had used Sharpie Permanent Markers. But they can not survive outdoor weather conditions. This eXtreme Permanent Marker holds much better under those conditions.
