Great new blotter.
Very nice look and feel. Replaced an older blotter that was looking a shabby after 10+ years. Hopefully this one lasts as long.

These desk pads are great for covering rough surfaces. Firm enough for writing with pens.

Good but not like the original...
I bought this to replace a 20 year old version of the same item because my computer mouse was not tracking well on it anymore. Although the finish is similar my mouse doesn’t do well on it and the newer copy is thinner and not as rigid as the old one. These desk pads are also extremely overpriced (not just at Staples).

Does the job but could use some improvement
This is good quality and fine if you don’t mind fingerprints this has a smooth finish and shows them all. Also I thought the price was high but needed one quickly so paid the price. Bought a much cheaper one (less than half price) from an online competitor and like it better. It has a slightly textured surface and doesn’t show prints.

This is not what I was expecting. Though it will protect the carpet…the chair wheels sink in quite a bit.

Terrific product
I bought a couple of these for our in home office. Only criticism is that you have to find a Staples that happens to have it in stock Staples will not ship or mail it and the store can’t order it therefore it could be difficult to purchase.

It was too expensive - now that I bought it I found a much less expensive material to use. Otherwise it fulfills its purpose.
