Not working
If I could give less than one star I would. I purchased a $200 Visa gift card as a gift and the funds were not loaded. An empty card was received. tried to check balance online and it is always error, tried everything and still nothing

Please do not buy very difficult to activate or get refund if any errors occurs and card not activated. Poor service. I can not activate it either from website or through phone.

Disappointing gifts
I bought 4 of these as gifts for Christmas. To my embarrassment and disappointment two of them had no funds available on them. That has finally been remedied after multiple frustrating phone calls.

Would not activate! Too much hassle.
Card would not activate with code. Quill says call Blackhawk. Blackhawk says call Quill. Did CC chargeback and I got refunded by my CC company. That's the way to go!

Cannot activate online
Bought 4 cards in the past 2 months 2 out 4 had activation issue when I tried to activate it online. I had to spend more than half hour each time to call staples to get it activated. Totally not worth it.

Not able to Activate the gift card
I am not able to activate the Visa Gift card online or over the phone. Called the giftcardmall 5 times and they told that I need to call Staples and they have to call giftcallmall to activate the card with the case #. Staples rep said yesterday that the card is now activated and I can use the card in 2 hours. I tried to use the card this morning did not go through. ...

It’s easy to purchase but challenging to activate. The gift card is mailed from BlackHawk Network who provides an activation code but for some reason the code I received for 6 gift cards apparently did not work. I called customer service for staples they direct me to BlackHawk. I called BlackHawk they directed me back to staples. Now I’m out of all the money paid becau...

Can't be used everywhere visa is accepted.
The Black Hawk Network cards are by far the worst gift card I've seen to date they are declined for everything. Cash app will not work cannot be used for bills the list goes on. The worst thing of all is they label these cards as prepaid and merchants don't want to use them.

not giftable. was charged $7 fee on top of that
not giftable comes in a mailer envelope that you have to remove not readily giftable. plus i paid a $7 fee.

Dishonesty
I ordered and paid for 2 $300 gift cards. I activated them and used one to make an online purchase for I realized that both gift cards were only for $200 not $300. Now I’m having to spend too much time to get this resolved. Stressful and frustrating to say the least😬
