Item takes up little space, yet holds what we need - compartments for pens, scissors, paperclips, etc as well as sticky-note pad. First shipment was chipped (because not wrapped in box), and Staples replaced it by next day! (They are always great at that.)

Does the job but can use some improvements
The organizer definitely does the job..feels a little cheap but I guess it doesn't really need to be heavy duty. The only problem I have I'd the area to hold papers I'm assuming was meant to hold envelopes because when you put a paper there is completely blocks the back where your pens and scissors are. Also, that area is really deep so when you drop something in there ...

7 compartments, not 9
I ordered this item, which is quite nice and functional, except that it has seven compartments, not the advertised 9. A minor inconvenience, but someone else may be more upset at missing out on the extra storage spaces.

It is the perfect size for our desk. The compartments being able to be folded in saves so much space but allows us to have everything we need close to hand. We love it

Small and cheaply made
Product is smaller than I thought it would be. I did not realize the two larger compartments are different heights, which cannot hold pens in both - the one is still a good size to hold quite a bit of pens though. One of the compartments that slides out sticks. Anything larger than a 5"x7" notepad will block access to the pens. Had to purchase another desk organizer to ...

I love my new organizer.
I love my new organizer. It's the perfect amount of storage for my little binder clips and paper clips pens and what not. I also love that I can personalize my cubicle with a picture.

The two little drawers might be helpful for someone else that doesn't have desk drawers but for me its wasted space and I wish it was just open for notepads. Its fine to hold pens and pencils. It does hold a photo but has such a glare you can't see it. Its ok though.
