It’s a mechanical pencil
It works fine. I just found the colors and ability to exchange them annoying. Especially now you have extra little bits to keep track of.

Paper Mate
As always Paper Mate does a great job. Kids love that they are able to change the colors of the tops of the mechanical pencils and the erasers come in different colors. It's nice that they can also be used on the Clearpoint Mechanical Pencils that take the 0.9mm lead.

I prefer the pack to be multiple pencils not changeable color sleeves as previously the selection was 2 mechanical pencils instead of 1

a bit deceptive
These are my favorite pencils-they are pretty and wear and work well.That being said however perhaps I wasn't reading the details closely enough because I thought it was a multi-pack of pencils not just one pencil with interchanging parts.You will enjoy this-just know what you're getting.

A Crowd Favorite!
My 10 yr old son begged for these pencils. We debated for a bit b/c this pack is about the same amount of money as a box full of mechanical pencils! But I gave in because he was so commited. They are cool pencils. I liked that he can customize them and that they make him happy. So far so good! I might get a second set for my daughter's Christmas stocking :)

Great pencils
My daughter loves these pencils. She loves that she can customize and change the look of these pencils. We have them in a lot of colors and she thinks it's fun to change them up. They seem to last much longer than other cheaper brands of pencils. I bought the pencils for her at testing time because she was tired of her disposable mechanical pencils' lead always breakin...

Make pencil writing fun!
Love these pencil sets! My 9 year old daughter talked me into them because of the fun color sets and that you change eraser colors. I hesitated because they were a little more money but honestly she gets great grades and I thought they would make homework more fun. I was right... for her and for me! I love simple pleasures and these are that. No more cheap mechanic...

Favorite pencils
My son HAD to have thins specific mechanical pencil. I figured it was more than we'd usually spend on a pencil but he absolutely LOVES them. He will not use any other pencil. He will go into his backpack to use for homework rather than use any other writing implement in our house. They have fun colors too. For a school supply that he uses every day it will well worth ...
